1921 Aimee de Heeren meets Alexander Bell.
1938 Aimée sent to Paris
as a WW2 Secret Service agent.

Return of a Story

1986 Johannes Thurn & Taxis, 6 x great-grandson
of Anselm Franz Thurn & Taxis,
(the old Postmaster in the Whitepages logo)
shows the former VB Postal mansion to a student.

Thurn & Taxis beleives the energy from the past
is still there sleeping in the old VB walls ...
He gives the student a Thaler from his ancestors
- once earned carrying letters -
with the mission to wake up "Spirit of Telecommunications".

1987 A little Boutique opens next door,
as a repair shop for avant-garde Sony Phones.
Thurn & Taxis and his friend Aimée de Heeren follow the project.

A new adventure
right at the dawn of the internet

1991 Registration of the Two Letters VB.com
1993 Sony Phones and a little jewel left by Chanel
make it possible to reopen the legendary
Cremerie de Paris No1 in the old VB mansion.
1995 VB becomes the first Internet Cafe in France
and an American Callback Telecom agency.
Difficult to find Internet acces
connects VB with of US Tech pioneers,
travelling through Paris as tourists.

1999 Invention of the Phone Book of the World
2004 The VB Whitepages project starts with
Whitepages.fr and Whitepages.it
The same Aimée de Heeren, now an older Lady, loves the project.
The first Whitepages are programmed
from the Internet Cafe during evening hours.
